I recently phased out my own design business to rejoin the professional work force and dabble in other artistic endeavors which sent me to Weight Loss Surgical Center in Overland Park, Kansas, as their media developer & designer.
I have a B.S and M.A. in education and taught secondary English and journalism for three years before pursuing my passion for graphic design, PR, photography and other things creative. I also have experience teaching communications at the collegiate level and love to combine my design and education backgrounds into teaching graphic design to eager students.
I have been designing for over 15 years and have developed an eye for visualizing the “larger picture.” I also have a fun and professional approach to the creative process and bring effective communication and problem-solving skills to every project. From magazine spreads and direct-mail marketing to Web design and corporate identities, I have experience developing projects in a timely and effective manner.
